► Feed My Starving Children (click here for more information)
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian nonprofit hunger relief organization, founded in 1987. This organization collects funds and engages volunteer groups to package dry meals for children in 60 countries around the world. In 2009 alone, over 416,000 volunteers packed over 96 million meals for hungry children. Imagine the impact when congregations like ours have put their hearts and hands into service to feed the neediest of God’s children! Our next packing event is scheduled for March 1, 2014.  For more information, visit www.fmsc.org or email the church office .

Wesley Giving Tree
The Wesley Center is a ministry in south central Phoenix to a barrio where 70% live in sub-standard housing. They are beset by extreme poverty, social problems, high crime rates, and a 42% school dropout rate. Each year church members purchase Christmas gifts for the children in Wesley’s programs.

Refugee Families
Imagine coming here when you don’t speak English, when you’re hungry and your worldly possessions are few, and when the only home you’ve known is a hut or tent in a camp run by armed staff.  To some, their new home is the land of opportunity.  To all, it’s an overwhelming new place with so much to learn.

In Christ’s Way
This program provides food staples and bus passes. Church members at FUMC provide 100% of the funds available.

Feed the Hungry
Two days a week, church members prepare and feed meals to the homeless.  On Mondays, we serve dinner at UMOM, the United Methodist Outreach Ministries facility, and on Thursday evenings, we can be found at the Watkins Shelter.  If the way to a person’s heart is truly through his stomach, this could be the ministry for you!

Justa Center
Did you know that Phoenix has the first shelter in the country dedicated to the special needs of homeless seniors?  Run by Rev. Scott Ritchey, the Justa Center helps to restore the lives of those often forgotten
in our society today.

Habitat for Humanity
Interested in working on a shorter-term project that will make a positive difference in the lives of a worthy family?  How about helping to build, furnish and decorate a new Habitat home?  No prior construction or design experience is required!
