Worship
At the heart of spirituality is worship. Next to eating and sleeping, it may be the oldest activity that people did together. It happens whenever the mind and heart are caught in a way that moves us beyond where we are into another...perspective.
Passionate spirituality makes us fully alive, and public worship is the great leveler in spirituality. We all sit on the same pews, sing the same songs and worship the same God. We stand in the same breadline, hear each other's prayers and struggle with the same lessons. When spirituality and public worship are linked, we are fully connected to one another, and claim our space in the universe as children of God.
Sunday Service Times:
CONTEMPORARY SERVICE, 9 AM
Our Praise Band leads the contemporary service bringing together today's most popular worship songs and are often joined by our children and youth choirs.
CLASSIC SERV
ICE, 11 AM
The chancel choir and organ lead the music, and are sometimes joined by the children and youth choirs, Rejoicing Handbell Choir, and vocal and instrumental soloists. The service encompasses a wide range of worship music including historic and contemporary congregational songs and anthems. Strong preaching is at the heart of this service.
Communion is celebrated at both services on the first Sunday of each month.
